I can't believe how big of a turn American Idol took last night. The people I thought were going to do the best did the worst and the ones I thought were going to be in the bottom three are definitely not going to be this week! The judges didn't really like David Cook's performance but he is still my favorite and I thought he did awesome last night. I think a big part of the reason why they didn't like his performance was because he sang a song that not many people are familiar with. I still love him though. I couldn't believe how good Kristy Lee Cook did too! I have never once liked any of her performances until last night. I thought for sure she would be in the bottom three this week and I will be very surprised if she is in the bottom three now. My other favorite was David Archuleta. That kid is sooo talented and has such a beautiful voice. The judges seemed to love Jason Castro last night. He sang "Over the Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo and that is one of my favorite remakes of a song but I honestly didn't like the way he sang it. It was too fast and I think I like Israel's version of it so much that I just wasn't feeling Jason Castro's version of it.
