Last night Lauren Conrad launched her new spring '09 clothing line at Smashbox Studios in Culver City, California. The looks that were seen were very feminine and spring like with lots of lemon, dusty peach, pale blue, and earthy brown colors. There were lots of floor length jersey dresses, high waisted shorts and every model wore some kind of head band or head piece that went with their outfit. The line was said to be "very girly, pretty, and romantic.

Some of the celebs that were seen at the event cheering her on were Gavin DeGraw, Holly Madison and Angela & Vanessa Simmons. I think the line is adorable! Check it out!

Okay, So I just have to say that I am the biggest baby ever. I have had the worst cold of my life for the last 6 days. It started on Thursday with a sore throat and as the weekend progressed it turned into a chest cold. I have been coughing and my nose has been running like a faucet. I called in sick to work yesterday and I am at work today but I am counting the minutes till I go home and put my pj’s on and go to bed.

My friend Dani has been trying to give me pep talks to try to get me through this cold! It makes me laugh because there are people out there going through worse then having a cold and I am acting like it’s the end of the world over here!!

Im counting the days till I feel better again!

Calling all David Cook fans! I'm so excited because I just read that David Cook just set the release of his new album to come out on November 18th. It's been quite awhile since I have heard anything about him. The first single on the album will be out in the next few weeks and I can't wait!!

David Archuleta already has a hit song out right now called "crush" and I will have to admit that I really like it. It will be interesting to see what happens when the David's go head to head yet again with their new albums coming out.

Goodbye Summer

I must admit I have been quite awful at keeping up with this blog lately. I fell into a little bit of a slump over the summer but now that summer is coming to an end I am starting to get the blogger's itch again! Plus, my friend's Alma and Rachel were asking me why I haven't been writing today at work.

So here I am. Trying to start this back up again! I can't believe summer is coming to an end! It was so depressing tonight when I looked out the window at 7:15pm and it was getting dark out. Usually I could get a good walk in till atleast 7:45 or 8:00pm. I live for the summer and really believe in seasonal depression. I am not looking forward to leaving for work in the morning in the pitch dark and leaving work at the end of the day in the pitch dark.

The summer just ended and I am counting down the days till it is summer again!!!!

I can't even begin to tell you how awesome I think it is that Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams have gotten back together. The two stars were in the love story "The Notebook" together in 2004 and started dating when they were filming the movie together. If you have not seen this movie you MUST see it. It is one of the best love stories ever and it is one of those movies that you can watch over and over and never get sick of it.

Well they started dating in the movie and I thought they were the cutest couple ever because of course they were in love in the movie but they just seemed like a great match anyway. They ended up splitting up sometime in 2007 but they were just spotted this past week in Toronto kissing and holding hands.

It looks like they are back together again. They are by far my favorite celebrity couple. I hope things work out for them.

Chillow Pillows

At work today I was talking to my manager Melissa about how I have a hard time sleeping at night and especially if my pillow is hot!

Sometimes when I go to bed at night Jared will have already gotten into bed and been laying on my pillow. I get so mad cause he makes my pillow all warm and I like a nice cold, crisp pillow when I lay down to go to sleep at night.

So Melissa told me about a certain pillow that they make called "Chillow"! At first I thought she was joking around but I went to the website and they actually sell a pillow that stays cool throughout the night.

Jared & I finished watching season 2 of Dexter the other night and we absolutely loved it. I thought season 2 was way better then season 1 so I am dying to see what is in store for season 3!

Big Brother 10

So I am slowly getting hooked on Big Brother again. I used to love the show but I stopped watching it for awhile. Now I have been getting back into it and I love it!!

Last night there was a big uproar in the house because Jessie over heard Keesha and Libra talking in their room about how they are upset with April and sick of they way she has been treating them and not trusting them. Of course when Jessie heard them yelling because they were talking very loud, he ran upstairs and told April. April then got hot headed and went to confront Keesha and Libra and when she did all hell broke loose because Libra & Keesha were trying to defend themselves and they were both denyting that they said anything of the sort. It turned into a huge yelling match.

This week Memphis and Jessie are up for elimination and Jerry won the challenge so he won the power of veto but he chose not to use it. Michelle was also very upset last night because she had to put on the red leotard. Not a happy camper!

So my favorite this season is Jessie. Looking at the forums as usual I think my favorite is not very well liked. I always tend to like the one that no one else does.

Christina Applegate treated for breast cancer

Christina Applegate is undergoing treatment for breast cancer. The actress found out she had cancer through an MRI ordered by one of her doctors. The disease was caught at the very early stages so she is expected to fully recover.

The actress is scheduled to appear on a television special called "Stand Up to Cancer" airing on ABC, CBS, and NBC on September 5th to raise money for cancer research.

We should all say a prayer for her and hope that she has a full recovery.

It looks like Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong have called it quits just after 4 months of dating. Sources say that the two have decided to part ways. Kate Hudson has been on a dating spree ever since her and her husband of two years, Chris Robinson, broke up.

She dated Stephen McNally and Owen Wilson her co-star from the movie "You, me & Dupree" after her and Chris Robinson broke up. She seemed pretty serious with Owen Wilson until they abruptly broke up. She then dated Dax Shepard briefly and then got back with Owen Wilson again. They seemed very much in love but then broke up again.

Just recently she was seen canoodling with Lance Armstrong and now they have called it quits!! I wonder what is going on????? All these guys and she can't settle down. Maybe she just hasn't found "the one" yet!

I've been noticing this season that gladiator sandals are very popular. They seem to be in all the magazines and stores now and I am kind of on the fence about whether I like them or not.

I think they look very cute on other people but I am not quite sure I could pull them off. There are all different styles and I like the ones that come up the leg. They look very cute with a pair of shorts or skirt.

The men in my family are always using work boots due to the line of work they have. It almost seems that they have trouble finding a great pair of work boots like we have trouble finding a new bra. It needs to be just as comfortable.

I am so glad this week is coming to an end. Today is my Friday so my weekend begins at 5:30pm today. I don't know why but I have been absolutely exhausted this week.

I think a big part of it is this weather we have been having. Every single day this week it has rained out or we have had a thunder storm. When is the sunshine going to come back!?! We only have about a month or two left of summer!

Today is my birthday and my friend Alma treated me to lunch at the New York Deli. I got a chicken kabob wrap and it was very good.

Alma, on the other hand got a tomato mozzarella wrap and it did not turn out the way she wanted it. Rachel & I walked by her desk and saw her dissecting it because it had prosciutto in it and I gotta say it did look pretty yucky. Poor Alma didn't like her lunch! ) :

It looks like Britney Spears is doing well and is back to her normal self. This past Saturday night she made an appearance at a child autism benefit called Generation Rescue that was started by Jennifer McCarthy and Jim Carrey. Onlookers at the event said that Britney looked happy and in good spirits.

Its good to see her back to normal and looking happy again!

I just recently bought a pair of boots at Target. I went there to buy a trash can for my kitchen and as I was passing through the shoe section I noticed them out of the corner of my eye. I was alittle bit on the fence about buying them but they were inexpensive and I really thought they were cute.

I had to write about this particular subject because I feel very strongly about it. This past weekend when I went to Martha's Vineyard I was on the ferry leaving Falmouth for Oak Bluffs and my dad calls me up on the phone to inform me that there was a great white shark sighting at one of the beaches on the Vineyard. Shortly after that my sister Kelly calls to tell me the same news. They know I am deathly afraid of the water and sharks so they both wanted to be the first ones to tell me! ( :

So of course the whole boat ride over everyone is joking and laughing about sharks and me and another girl on the boat sitting behind me were talking and joking about how guys, including Jared, always say that if they were in the water with a shark they would punch it in the face or somehow fight the shark off! Um! I don't think so! If you are in the water and you somehow come face to face with one of those things it is all over!

It turns out that some of the sightings that week on the Vineyard were a hoax but just shortly after they announced the hoax a "small" great white shark washed up on a beach in Nantucket. It was 6 1/2 feet long and to me that is not small!!

Im going to stick to sitting as far away from the water as possible on the sand on my towel!

Martha's Vineyard

This weekend was Jared's sister Jen's wedding in Martha's Vineyard. It was such a beautiful wedding and you couldn't have asked for a better weekend. Jen was a beautiful bride.

The place that Jen and Rick got married was the most beautiful place I have ever been to. It was at the Beach Plum in Menemsha and the view from where they said their vows was unbelievable. It was a really great time. I didn't want to go home.

We took the ferry home last night and it was sad leaving. We had done so much in just 4 days. There is something about the Vineyard that when you go there you just automatically become relaxed and feel like you don't have a care in the world.

I watched a movie on Sunday night called "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". It was a movie with Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet that came out in 2004 and I would have to say it was probably one of the strangest movies I have ever seen. I liked it but it was strange and it was definitely one of those movies that gets you thinking to say the least!! I am a big fan of Jim Carrey and I think he is completely out of his mind but in a good way.

Yesterday I went online and I saw a picture of him and his girlfriend Jenny McCarthy walking down the beach and in one picture they look normal and then in the next picture they had switched bathing suits!! It was probably one of the funniest most random things I have ever seen but I guess you kind of expect that behavior from Jim Carrey! What a nut!

This past weekend me, Jared and his friend Manny went to the mall and as we were leaving we were walking past a store that Manny told me I should go into because he thought I would like it. It was called Lush and it is a store that makes handmade soaps and cosmetics. I absolutely loved it! Everything smelled so good and there was so many things to choose from my head was spinning.

I didn't buy anything that night but I do plan to go back there and pick up the "Rock Star soap" which smelled awesome and the "Candy Fluff dusting powder" which I had tested out on my arm and I couldn't stop smelling my arm all night! ( ;

Their products are all natural and they are against animal testing. I couldn't believe I hadn't heard of this place sooner.

It is now official, Cynthia Rodriguez, the wife of Alex Rodriguez aka A-Rod of the New York Yankees has filed for a divorce. There were rumors of A-Rod cheating in the past when pictures were posted in the newspaper of him leaving a bar a couple months back with a "dancer" but just when we thought Cynthia Rodriguez would get the guts to leave this DOG they were back together again looking content as ever.

Now there are rumors that A-Rod had an affair with Madonna which he and Madonna are denying and this is right in the middle of the rumors flying about Madonna and Guy Ritchie getting a divorce which they are also denying. On top of all this we are now hearing that Cynthia Rodriguez was also having an affair with singer Lenny Kravitz which she vehemently denies! Talk about a love triangle!

So now Cynthia is filing for divorce calling Alex "an adulterer who emotionally abandoned his wife and children". She has asked for primary custody of their two children, as well as child support and alimony. I hope she gets everything she asks for. This is long overdue. If you want to cheat and act like a DOG don't get married!!

David Cook the winner of American Idol this year is one of the lucky guys to make it on to this list this year. Congratulations to the Boston Celtics!!! They have won the NBA championship!!! The final score against the Lakers was 131-92. The game was awesome!!! We pretty much demolished the Lakers from start to finish. I was up till 12 in the morning but it was worth it to see them win this game. It is very exciting and I am so happy for everyone on that team. They deserve it for all the hard work they did this season!

I don't know if anyone agrees with me on this one but I think that Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are such an odd match. Sources say they have recently started dating and there have been numerous pictures of them out on the town together and now sunbathing in Mexico. Not that I am cupid or anything but I would never in one million years ever match those two up. I even feel like they look awkward together in photos.

Jennifer Aniston was married to Brad Pitt for five years and in January of 2005 they announced they were seperating. Brad supposedly left his marriage with Jennifer for Angelina Jolie when he met her on the set of the movie they were filming called "Mr. and Mrs. Smith." Jennifer Anniston has been linked to other men like Vince Vaughn and Paul Sculfor since then but none of her relationships ever seem to work out.

John Mayer has been quite the ladies man over the last couple of years. He dated Jessica Simpson for nine months in the summer of 2006. After Jessica he was linked to Minka Kelly and Cameron Diaz. Who knows? Maybe we will all be proven wrong and this will be a match made in heaven!

Why in my living space?????

So last night Jared's friend Brendon (aka Secret Lydon Man) came over to run some wires to put some cable in our house. I felt bad for Jared because he was completely exhausted and I went to bed around 11pm but once again it too me forever to fall asleep. I don't know why I haven't been sleeping that well.

Maybe it is because Jared & Brendon told me that we had MICE upstairs in the attic! Ya! That is really something I want to hear before I am about to lay my head down on the pillow to go to sleep. There is one thing I don't like and that is rodents!! The thought of anything like that even being in my living space sends chills up my spine!! Now I don't know if they were just trying to get me going but if that was their mission it worked!!

You will never ever see me go upstairs into that attic again. I don't get it! We as humans have our own living space. Mice need to go find their own living space! And I don't want it to be in my house! Thinking about it now gives me the heeby jeebies!!! You best believe there will be 500 traps up in my attic by tonight. I may have to borrow one of the girls cats at work. Maybe that will do the trick!

The day is finally coming to an end Thank the Lord! It wasn't a crazy busy weekend so I don't know why I am so exhausted. Friday night Jared and I had our annual Friday night Chinese food and Saturday I spent the day with my mom and dad and my sister and nieces. I wish I got to see them more then I do. I love them to pieces.

I stayed up late last night watching the Celtics game and they lost BUT I am not worried about them kicking some major Lakers butt this Tuesday night at the Boston Garden!!! A part of me wanted them to lose last night so they could win here in Boston. Go Celtics!! I really think we are going to win.

So my friend Alma introduced me to a great new mascara by Benefit that I absolutely LOVE!! She came into work the other day with it on and it made her eyes look really pretty so I decided to purchase some myself. I am a big Benefit fan anyway but I really wanted to try this stuff out.

It is called Bad Gal Blue. There is actually a link for it down the bottom of the page. It is blue which probably sounds very 80's for mascara and I thought the same thing when I first heard of it BUT once it is on your eye lashes you can not really tell it is blue and it enhances your eyes.

I can't get over the new headlines about Linda Hogan, the now ex-wife of WWF superstar Hulk Hogan. She should honestly be ashamed of herself. Their are pictures of her everywhere with her new boy toy, 19 year old Charlie Hill. She looks absolutely ridiculous. She is 48 years old and he is only 19!! The funny part about it is he looks like a younger version of Hulk Hogan himself.

Her daughter Brooke Hogan told the media yesterday that she actually went to school with Charlie Hill and that the whole situation freaks her out and she does not condone it at all. I don't blame her one bit. I can see if a marriage does not work out and two people decide to move forward but she is really showing her true colors.

Hulk Hogan also confirmed on Larry King the other night that he is not dating a 19 year old girl because rumors were flying that he was also dating someone a lot younger then him. He said the woman he is dating is in her thirties. Good Lord! It looks like reality t.v has yet again ripped another marriage apart.

I will have to admit that I have been in somewhat of a writer's slump lately. It has been over 90 degrees in Boston for about 3 days now and it is draining!! I definitely love the summer and the hot weather but this humidity is killing me!

I was watching the beginning of the Celtics and Lakers game tonight and was pleasantly surprised by David Cook singing the National Anthem. You should have seen me. It was like I was watching American Idol all over again when they announced he was singing it. I was like everyone be quiet!!! and i was all excited. Of course he sounded amazing. Im so glad he is making it so big.

Coffee

I just wanted to vent a little bit this morning because I didn't get too much sleep last night. Why is it that when you go to get a coffee and you specify how you would like it no one ever gets it right??

Every morning I go to get my iced coffee because I can not start my day without one and I tell the person extra light with milk and sugar. Well I always get it back darker then dark with no milk in it. I just don't get it! And then when you tell the person that you want them to add more milk or that they did it wrong they give you the biggest tude???

I am very tired this morning so I am being cranky. I just had to get that off my chest but honestly what would this world be like if we didn't have coffee??!! ( ;

It looks like my favorite American Idol rocker has a potential girlfriend. Sources say that David Cook has been dating former American Idol contestant Kimberly Caldwell. Kimberly Caldwell is a talk show host on the TV Guide Network. She was interviewing David Cook on the "Idol Tonight" show when he told her how excited he was just to talk to her. He ended up asking her out and they went to dinner together.

No word on whether they will end up together as an actual couple. Time will tell!!

Sources say that George Clooney and his girlfriend Sarah Larson who were together for about one year have decided to call it quits. They met in Las Vegas about four years ago but didn't get together until June of 2007. The season finale of LOST is on tonight and I can not wait! It is on at 9:00pm and it is a 2 hour episode. I hope it is a good one and it gives everyone some more answers!

I am so excited that David Cook won American Idol last night. I can't even begin to tell you how ecstatic I was. I wanted to jump right on the computer last night after the show to write about it but I am sick yet again with the worst sore throat ever and I just wanted to go to bed ) :

I am so over joyed that he won though. I really didn't think he was going to win because it seemed like David Archuleta had a bigger fan base and everyone I talked to liked him better then David Cook. But when they announced the winner I think I screamed so loud the whole town of Framingham heard me!

We had to wait a whole 2 hours to find out the winner but the show was awesome. They had guest appearances from Seal, One Republic, Jordin Sparks, and Carrie Underwood. It was the worth the wait because the person that I had liked the whole show through had won.

Congratulations to David Cook!!!!

American Idol Showdown

So last night was the final showdown between David Cook and David Archuleta. They each sang three songs and I think David Cook won the whole thing fair and square. Although the judges thought differently and basically said that David Archuleta won the whole night. It pretty much seemed to me that they had their minds made up right when the show started that they thought David Archuleta was the best of the night.

I was getting extremely annoyed because David Cook did amazing as usual and they were not giving him any credit whatsoever. I think both David's are amazing BUT they are both so different and have such different styles of music. Of course a lot of the older crowd likes David Archuleta because he sings ballads and a lot of people like that but personally I like more of a rock style of music.

We will see what happens tonight. I think either way even if David Cook does not win the whole thing he will definitely go far in his career. He is so talented and I will be the first one in line to get tickets to one of his shows.

My vote is for David Cook.

Shoe obsessed

So I decided that everyday I am going to do a post about shoes. Anyone that knows me knows that I have a major shoe obsession but I am trying to finish paying off my bills so I figure if I blog about the shoes I love rather then go out and buy them then it would probably be better off for me!

Road Rage

So I am driving to work this morning and out of nowhere comes this silver Honda Civic that merges onto the road I was on and cuts me off. The thing that annoyed me the most about this is that I have been behind this particular person before and they drive slow as molasses! So they cut me off and then drive about 10 miles per hour the whole entire way to work!! They work right down the street from my work so it's not like they are in front of me for a couple of minutes, its the whole commute!

I am trying to be better about having road rage but I will have to tell you it is very hard living in New England and not having road rage. I just don't get why someone is so quick to get in front of you but then wants to drive so slow. Is this week almost over yet?? ( ;

Go Celtics!!!

So I will have to admit that I am not too into basketball, I am more of a baseball fan myself. But I am always routing for my home teams and the Celtics played the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 7 today and it was a nail biter!

My boyfriend and his friend were watching it and I was reading a book in the other room and I heard them screaming at the t.v so I decided to go in and watch it with them. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and my heart was pounding out of my chest. I will have to say that play off games are awesome to watch even if you aren't a huge basketball fan.

The Celtics ended up winning 97-92 against the Cavaliers and now we are going to be playing the Detroit Pistons Tuesday night in Boston where the Celtics have won 14 straight games and are 8-0 in the postseason. I can't wait! It is going to be exciting. I hope the Celtics go all the way!

Allergies

Why in the world do I have to have allergies?! I don't know if anyone has them as bad as me but I am suffering big time. Yesterday was Jared's sister Jen's shower and it was a lot of fun but i felt bad because all I did the whole time was sneeze, blow my nose and itch my eyes!

I take all kinds of medicines but nothing seems to work for me so I think I might start to do shots. If anyone has any suggestions of what can work for me it would be greatly appreciated because I am sick of feeling like crapola!!

The Happening

There is a new movie coming out called "The Happening" directed by M. Night Shyamalan. It is starring Mark Wahlberg and it opens in theaters June 13th. I saw the preview for it when I went to see "What happens in Vegas" and I knew it would be a movie I would want to see. Mark Wahlberg is one of my favorite actors but on top of that the movie looks so scary and so good.

M.Night Shyamalan gained recognition when he wrote and directed "The Sixth Sense" and "Signs". Most of his movies have some kind of supernatural plot. He is also known for filming his movies in and around Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. If anyone loves scary movies like me and I think this is going to be a MUST SEE!!

LOST

On this week's episode of LOST we finally found out who the Oceanic 6 were. The episode begins with Jack, Kate, baby Aaron, Hurley, Sun, & Sayid arriving back on civilization and being questioned by the media. Their families all are waiting for them when they come off of the plane except no one is there to greet Kate. While answering questions to the media, Kate tells them that baby Aaron is her biological baby. Jack mainly talks for everybody stating that the plane crashed in the water and that they were the only people to have survived the crash. There was no mention on any of the other survivors. Everyone just assumes that they all died on impact in the crash.

Sayid is reunited with the love of his life Nadia and Hurley has a welcome home party thrown for him by his mom and dad. His dad surprises him with a reconditioned Camaro that he had been working on ever since Hurley's plane went down. They were about to take it for a spin and when Hurley looks at the odometer it reads 815162342 and he freaks out and jumps out of the car and starts running away from the house.

Once back in South Korea, Sun goes to visit with her father and when her dad asks her about her pregnancy she asks him why he is pretending to care and that he (and an unnamed other person) is to blame for her husband Jin's death. She tells him that she used her Oceanic settlement to buy a huge share of his company and that he will be answering to her now.

Jack has a memorial service for his father so he could finally put closure to his death and say goodbye. At the end of the service he is approached by a woman who tells him that she was probably the last person to see Christian alive when he was in Australia and that she had a baby with him who was also on Oceanic 6. She tells Jack that her name was Claire!!! Jack puts two and two together and realizes that Claire is his sister and baby Aaron is his nephew but he does not reveal this to the woman.

Flashing back to before they all got off the island, chaos is breaking loose on the island because Sayid is trying to get everyone to the freighter because he thinks Keamy and his gang are going to kill everyone. Jack and Sayid tell everyone to get safe and they venture off to figure out what is going on and in their travels they run into Sawyer who tells them what Keamy had done and that Claire was missing.

Meanwhile Ben, Hurley, and Locke have no idea what is going on and they are traveling to the Orchid station so they can "move the island". When they arrive there, Keamy and his gang are already there so Ben comes up with a plan to get Locke inside of the Orchid. The last thing we see is Ben surrendering to Keamy.

Goodbye Syesha

I will have to say that last night's show was a tear jerker for me. I know that everyone that knows me knows that I cry very easily ( ; but i was holding back tears last night watching American Idol. It wasn't because Syesha went home but because it was just nice to see how happy the three remaining contestants were and how overwhelmed they were with happiness.

Of course when they showed David Cook's trip back home I liked that the best but when he was holding back tears that kind of broke me up a little bit. I was making poor Jared watch it with me because he was in the middle of watching the Celtics but I kept switching it back and forth between commercials. He kept calling me a dork everytime I started to almost cry. I felt a little bit better when my mom called me and told me that she thought it was a tear jerker too ( ;

So Syesha was sent home and now it is between the two David's. I can't wait to see what the final outcome is. I think it should be David Cook but you never know what can happen. They are both so talented.

American Idol

So the top 3 performed on American Idol last night. Each contestant had to sing three songs all in one hour's time. They performed one song chosen by the judges, one by the contestant, and one by the producers.

My favorite of the night was of course David Cook. He sang "First time I ever saw your face" chosen by Simon and I loved it. "Dare you to move" by Switchfoot chosen by him which I also thought was awesome and "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith chosen by the producers which I liked but I felt like the band kind of drowned him out.

David Archuleta was my second favorite. He sang "And So it Goes" by Billy Joel chosen by Paula Abdul which I thought was OK. "With You" by Chris Brown that I thought was also OK but I felt like he felt very awkward singing it and he seemed extremely awkward singing it and his last song was "Longer" by Dan Fogelberg which I actually liked a lot but I think it is only because I really like the song.

Syesha was my last pick and she sang "If I ain't got you" by Alicia Keys chosen by Randy which I thought was too big of a song choice for her. Not many people can sing like Alicia Keys. Second she sang "Fever" by Peggy Lee which I did not like at all and her last song was "Hit me up" by Gia Farrell and I wasn't too crazy about that song choice either.

I think David Cook definitely did the best last night and I think after tonight it will be between the two Davids. We will find out at 9:00pm.

Heartbroken

So the latest gossip news that I heard today that I got a kick out of was the fact that Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner made it public that he will not ever marry his long time girlfriend Holly Madison. They have been together for years now and they live together but Hugh states that “marriage isn’t a piece of his puzzle” and that “it’s not a personal thing but he just hasn’t had much luck with marriages.”

She is probably staying with him because he is extremely successful and wealthy but come on now! She could pretty much get any guy she wants and she is 28 years old! He is 82! I just can’t believe she would stay with a man for this long that is this much older then her when he flat out tells her that he will never marry her. I guess to each their own!

My Weekend

I had a really fun weekend but it went by way too fast. Friday is my day off so that is always a plus so I didn’t do that much that day. Saturday night Jared and I went out to dinner at Legal Seafood with his friend Tommy and his wife Rachel. Then we saw “What happens in Vegas” with Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz. I wasn’t sure how I was going to like the movie but I ended up loving it! I was laughing so hard at some parts I was crying!

Sunday I went to lunch in the North End with Jared and his family for lunch at Pagliuca's and then to see David Copperfield at the Opera house. Jared’s sister Jen had bought us tickets for Christmas. The food was delicious and the show was so fun. We all had wished that the show was a little bit longer since it was only an hour 1/2 but it was worth it. I had a great time.

LOST

So LOST was on last night and it was a very bizarre episode. They kept flashing back into Locke's life when he was first born to a very young mother who ended up giving him up for adoption. Richard Alpert, one of the Others who was last seen leading the others to the temple, visited Locke several times throughout his life. He was sent an invitation to a science camp which Locke refused and then years later when Locke was in the hospital recuperating from being thrown out the window by his father an orderly working there tried to convince him to take a walkabout. We have seen the orderly throughout the show and he is quite creepy.

Throughout the show Locke, Ben & Hurley ventured off to find the "Jacob" and the so-called cabin. They were having no luck and stopped to sleep and try again in the morning. During the night Locke had a very strange dream about Horace Goodspeed. Horace was one of the Others that died when Ben gassed the Dharma Initiative. In the dream Horace told Locke that in order to find "Jacob" he would have to find him. Locke goes back to the shallow grave that Ben brought him to awhile back with all the skelatal remains of the Others that were killed in the gassing. He found Horace's remains and when going through his shirt pocket finds the map to the cabin.

When Locke, Ben, & Hurley get to the cabin they both refuse to go with Locke into the cabin. Locke goes into the cabin very bravely and in the pitch darkness he sees a dark figure sitting in the corner of the cabin. Finally out of the darkness we see Christian (Jack's dad) sitting there. That is all well and good but Christian is supposed to be dead. We all saw his dead corpse laying in the coffin many episodes ago! To put a bigger twist on this we then see Claire sitting on the opposite side of the cabin looking very at ease and with a creepy smile on her face. She tells Locke not to worry and that she is fine with Christian. After leaving the cabin Locke tells Ben & Hurley that Christian told him he needs to "move the island".

Who knows what is going to happen now. The previews for next weeks episode look awesome and I don't think I can wait 6 more days to see it. It looks that the Oceanic 6 are going to be introduced next week. Cant wait!

She is one of my best friends and I don't know anyone who deserves this more then she does. I can't wait till the wedding and to see her and Tony's relationship grow into a wonderful, happy marriage. Love you Dani!!

So it finally happened! Jason Castro was sent packing last night on American Idol. It was not a surprise to me that he went home but I was a little bit nervous that his teenage girl fan base was going to keep him in and send Syesha home but thank the Lord that didn't happen! I was listening to the radio this morning on the way into work and all the stations were saying how they thought Jason was overwhelmed about how far he had actually gone in the competition and that he just was so inexperienced that he couldn't take it anymore. I think that Carly Smithson should have been in his spot in the final four.

Bo Bice and Maroon 5 also performed last night. I was a huge fan of Bo Bice when he was on American Idol but I will have to say that I wasn't loving his performance last night at all. He didn't sound as good as he used to. I loved Maroon 5 though. Adam Levine has an unbelievable voice.

Next week the final 3 have to sing 3 songs each. I can't wait to see what happens!!

American Idol

I just watched American Idol and I had to write on here ASAP. Please Please Please tell me that Jason Castro is going home tonight. Jared watched the show with me for the first time tonight and could not believe how bad he was and kept saying how he couldn't believe he had even come this far. It was hard getting him to watch with me since the Red Sox and the Celtics were on but he was a good sport about it. Tonight they sang songs from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Jason Castro tried to sing a Bob Marley song and a Bob Dylan song. It was horrible.

David Cook sang "Teenage Waste Land" by the Who and "Hungry like the wolf" by Duran Duran. I thought he was awesome (of course) but "Teenage Waste land" was my favorite. He seemed a little bit distracted tonight though and I hope that doesn't ruin his chances of winning because he should win the whole thing.

Syesha sang "Proud Mary" by Tina Turner and "A change is going to come" I thought she did really good tonight. She started crying after her second song and was very emotional tonight. She is definitely a very talented girl and should definitely be in the final 3.

David Archuleta sang "Stand by me" and "Love me tender". He also did really good tonight. The judges seemed to like him the best. He is a sweetheart and soooo talented but I really think that he is too young to win the whole competition. I am very biased though because I love David Cook ( ;

We will see what happens tomorrow night at 9pm! I will be so shocked if Jason Castro is not the one to go home! It should be interesting.

Dexter

I don’t know if anyone has ever seen the show on Showtime called “Dexter” but it is really good. If you do not have movie channels you can watch it on Channel 4 on Sunday nights at 9pm. Last night was the 2 hour season finale of season one and it was awesome but they are playing season two on Showtime right now.

When I first started watching it I thought to myself my God this show is really bizarre but then it grew on me big time! It is about a guy named Dexter, played by Michael C. Hall, who was adopted at a very young age by a police officer. When he was growing up his dad noticed that his behavior was very strange and that he was going to end up being a serial killer so he taught his son to kill “bad people” rather then innocent people.

Dexter ends up being a forensics blood expert on the Miami Police Department and becomes obsessed with tracking the “ice truck killer” meanwhile doing killing of his own. The thing that is strange about the show is Dexter is a very likeable person even though he is a killer. You actually really grow to like him.

Lost

Lost was on last night and it was one of my favorite episodes so far this season. To try to make a long story short, the episode kept going from present to future with Jack & Kate. In the present Jack is very sick on the island and come to find out he needs to have his appendix taken out before it ruptures. Juliette decides to do his surgery for him and all ends up well with him. In the future it shows Jack & Kate living together with Claire's baby Aaron. We still don't know why Kate has Aaron but at the end of this episode Claire disappears into the woods starting to give us some answers as to why Aaron got off the island and she did not.

Jack is still practicing as a doctor in this episode and seems very very happy living with Kate. He ends up proposing to her and she says yes. They seem happy until Jack goes to visit Hurley in the mental hospital and is very rattled when he hears what Hurley has to say to him. Hurley seems very mentally deranged and tells Jack that he see's Charlie and that Charlie left Jack a message saying that the baby (Aaron) should not be raised by him. He also told Jack that someone would be coming to visit him soon.....

It then shows Jack dictating patient reports in his office at work and he keeps hearing a sound outside the door. He goes to check it and it is a low battery on a smoke detector but when he goes out to the lobby he see's his dad (who is dead) sitting in a chair in the waiting area. He starts to have a panic attack and when one of his co workers walks by she asks if he is ok and he turned back to the chairs and his dad was gone.

He goes home and finds Kate on the phone. When he asks who it is she behaves very strange and tells him it is a friend of hers that she met at the playground with Aaron. He doesn't question her but does not believe her and begins to drink heavily. The next night he comes home from work to find Kate not home yet. He begins drinking and waiting for her to come home. When she arrives he questions where she was but she did not want to tell him. She finally admits that she was with Sawyer because she had to do something for him. It looks like Sawyer must be one of the Oceanic 6!

Goodbye Brooke

So last night on American Idol Brooke White went home. I knew it was going to be either Brooke or Jason Castro to go home but I thought Jason Castro should've gone home before Brooke. Jason and David Archuleta were the first two that were called out on the stage and told they were safe and that is when I started to freak out because the three left standing were Syesha, Brooke White and David Cook and I kept saying Good Lord! If David Cook even gets sent home tonight I will never watch this show again!!!

I felt so bad for her when they told her she was going home. I don't think I have ever seen someone get so emotional on the show before but you can tell she is a very sensitive, emotional person. I hope she goes far after this show. She is talented and seems like a really nice person.

American Idol

Last night on American Idol Neil Diamond was the mentor. It was a very odd show. The contestants had to sing two songs each. They sang the first set of songs and then when everyone was done singing the first set the judges said what they thought of their performances. People always comment on how they think Paula Abdul is always three sheets to the wind and I never thought so until last night. She started to judge Jason Castro and started talking about how she thought his first song was ok and that his second song was alright but then she was stopped in the middle of talking because everyone had to tell her that the idol's didn't sing their second songs yet. Her behavior was just really bizarre.

As for my favorites, obviously David Cook is always my favorite. He was awesome last night. He sang "I'm Alive" and "All I need is you" Both songs were awesome but "All I need is you" was my absolute favorite. He changed the song around to sound very contemporary and he just sounded amazing! I can't wait till he makes it big so I can go see him perform.

Syesha surprisingly was my other favorite. This was the first time all season I actually picked up the phone and voted for her because I thought she did really well. She sang "Hello Again" and "Thank the Lord for the night time". I love the song "Hello Again" anyway, Its one of my favorite Neil Diamond songs but she really sang it well and she did awesome singing "Thank the Lord for the night time". I thought it was the perfect song for her. I don't think she is going to be the next American Idol but I do think she is going to go far in acting or she will end up in Broadway shows.

My picks for the bottom three tonight are:

Brooke White-She sang "I'm a believer" and I hated it. She looked like a deer caught in the headlights the whole time she sang it and it was just too fast and her second song was "I am I said" and I didn't like that one either.

Jason Castro-He sang "Forever in blue jean's" and "September Morn". He was boooooring. He acts like he doesn't even want to be there.

David Archuleta-He sang "Sweet Caroline" and "America". He was good but its the same old thing week after week. I'm just getting sick of hearing the same style of songs.

Miley Madness

Ok, I'm not really understanding why everyone is freaking out about the pictures Miley Cyrus did in Vanity Fair magazine. She has now released a statement apologizing to her fans because she is embarrassed by the photo shoot that she took with the magazine. I do understand that she is only 15 years old and why parents may think she is not a good role model for their children BUT that is when they need to take some discretion and not let their 7 year old children read Vanity Fair magazine.

I have only seen one photo that they are flashing all over the internet and I dont think that it is too racy at all. Her dad was at the photo shoot and the photographer is a reputable well known photographer. I think that people need to get over this and let Miley live her life and be who she wants to be. You can't expect your child not to see this type of stuff in this day in age and there is a lot worse stuff going on then this.

I hate Monday's

God do I hate Monday mornings. This weekend was really nice. Jared's birthday was on Friday and he turned 32! I have Fridays off so I got to spend some time with him and then that night we all went out to dinner. It was really nice. Saturday I went to get my hair colored because God knows that I am going grey at 31 years old.

Saturday night Jared and I went for our usual weekend Chinese food run and then last night we watched a movie called "Eastern Promises". I don't know if anyone has ever seen it but it was probably one of the most violent movies I have ever seen. It came out in 2007 and it stars Naomi Watts and Viggo Mortensen. It was about the Russian mob. I really liked it a lot but I could've gone without all the violent scenes.

Lost is back

So after 4 loooong weeks LOST came back on last night. It is at 10:00pm now so I am glad that I have Friday's off to stay up late to watch it. It was a really good episode. As usual there are so many questions left unanswered. The show starts out with a body washing up on shore. The body was a doctor that was on the freighter and it looked as if his throat had been slit. The island gets ambushed by the people on the freighter. They try to get Ben to come out of his house but he won't and when he doesn't Ben's daughter Alex gets shot and killed by the men. I almost thought Claire got killed because they blew up the house she was sleeping in but she ended up surviving and her and Aaron were alright.

They kept flashing forward during the show to after Sayid got off the island and it turns out he finally found the woman he loved after he had been searching for her for 7 years and after marrying her she ended up getting murdered. It showed him at her funeral and then Ben ends up showing up wherever Sayid was and telling him who murdered his wife. Sayid then kills the man that murdered his wife. I don't know who Ben really is but I am beginning to think that he may be in the FBI or CIA??? He knows so much about everyone.

The episode was awesome but once again left you begging for more answers. I can't wait for next week already!!

I found tonight's American Idol to be completely shocking. I never in a million years thought that Carly Smithson would go home. I didn't think she would win the whole show but I certainly didn't think tonight was her night to go packing. I chose Jason Castro and Brooke White for the bottom two and neither of them were! The bottom two tonight were Carly Smithson and Syesha Mercado. I didn't want Brooke White to be in the bottom two but I thought for sure she would be because of her screw up last night BUT I think that screw up may have saved her. I think people actually didn't mind the fact that she screwed up. Simon also said tonight that it showed that she was human and people like that.

But Jason Castro!? Come on now! The judges didn't like his performance, Andrew Lloyd Webber didn't like his performance, the posts I read on the internet didn't like his performance so I am wondering where his votes came from. Im starting to think he has a huge teeny bopper fan base. I think its sad Carly Smithson went home because she is extremely talented but I think she will go far after the show is over.

The Chicago Bulls’ mascot Benny the Bull evidently took things a little bit too far on Monday during a Chicago Bulls game. An Illinois dentist who was sitting in the stands went to give Benny a high five and instead of Benny giving him a high five he instead grabbed his arm too hard pulling him forward causing a ruptured tendon!

Dr. Don Kalant Sr. will be out of work for up to four months so he is suing Benny and wants to be reimbursed for his medical bills, physical pain and lost earnings. Good Lord! You never know who is underneath those suits do you!?

American Idol

American Idol was good last night. Andrew Lloyd Webber was the mentor for the show this week and it was a very tricky show for the contestants because Broadway songs are very hard to sing. Andrew Lloyd Webber is a British composer of musical theater so the contestants had to choose a song from a musical.

Of course I thought that David Cook was the absolute best of the night. I didn’t know what type of song he was going to sing from a musical but he ended up picking “Music of the Night” from “The Phantom of the Opera” and I thought he was amazing. He didn’t change the song into a rock song like he usually does, he just sang it the way it was sang in the “Phantom of the Opera” and he was awesome. If he doesn’t win this whole competition I will be shocked. He is so talented and proved last night that he can sing anything from a rock song to a Broadway musical and still sound great.

My other favorite of the night was Carly Smithson. She sang “Jesus Christ Superstar” and I thought she did a great job. It was actually my favorite performance she has ever done on the show and I also thought she looked great.

So my choices for bottom TWO tonight are:

Brooke White-I don’t want her to be in the bottom three cause she is one of my favorites but she really screwed up last night. She sang “You must love me” from the musical “Evita” and she started the song and forgot the lyrics so she had to start over and then after that happened it was almost like her nerves got to her and she fell apart.

Jason Castro-He sang “Memory” and I actually liked his performance and thought it was one of his best so far but the judges hated it. They thought it was the wrong song choice for him.

I honestly don’t know who will be the third….Everyone else did a great job; even Syesha who I do not really think is that great. Tonight will be a very interesting show.

Spring is here

Spring is finally here. On my drive to work this morning I saw the cows grazing in the field at this farm in Weston that I drive by. Jared and I drove in to work together for 2 years and every morning in the spring and summer we would drive by “the sirloins” as we call them and it would make our morning.

Seeing them out on the farm would tell us spring is finally here and today was the first day I saw them since the winter. I wish Jared could have seen them. I miss driving in to work with him. It would’ve brought a smile to his face.

I am so glad winter is finally over and the nice weather is finally here! It is supposed to be gorgeous out for the next 3 days.

Heidi Montag from the reality show "The Hills" just came out with her new clothing line called Heidiwood. It is being sold at a store and website called Anchor Blue and the line was geared towards people who can't and don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on clothing and/or accessories.

When I first found out she was coming out with a clothing line I thought it was a joke and that she was just doing it to spite her on screen and off screen nemesis Lauren Conrad who also has her own high end clothing line but when I went on the website today I actually think the line is really cute and really affordable. She has a lot of trendy t-shirts, shirts, pants, shoes and accessories and I think she is going to do very well.

I really like Lauren Conrad's line too but I think she is going to do better then Lauren because it is more affordable. Check it out!

I am very excited that I have just recently been accepted to pay per post. I started blogging a couple of months ago and when I started I immediately loved it. My friends told me about payperpost and how great of a website it is and how you can make tons of money by blogging about things you love. I have checked out other websites and I have heard pay per post is the best by far for me to make money.

When I logged on the website for the first time I was amazed by all the opportunities that were awaiting me. I need all the extra money I can get because I have some bills that I need to pay off and I would like to start saving to buy a house with my boyfriend in the future.

Jared & I got home from Florida last night. Our plane landed at about 9:50pm and I wanted to kiss the ground when we landed. We didn't have a bad flight or anything but God do I hate flying! Our flight to Florida was quite interesting. We were all boarded on the airplane and all the sudden the pilot comes out and says Hi Everyone! the flight is going to be delayed a little while because an indicator light went on in the cockpit. Someone is coming to take a look at it to figure out what the problem is and after that we should be good to go! I was like are you kidding me??! Im already drugged up on two ativans and all ready to take off and he has to spring this on me! What the heck is an indicator light!? Isn't that the light that goes off in your car that says check engine or add oil or something??

Needless to say it didn't sit too well with me but the flight ended up being fine and we landed safe and sound to and from Boston. I will have to say it is never easy for me to fly though. I absolutely hate it. I think I squeezed Jared's hand so hard on the flight home that I almost ripped it off! ( ;

Jared & I had a blast on our vacation. We went to the beach practically everyday, ate greasy food, & went to a baseball game at Dodger stadium. I had a really good time but I always have a good time with Ja. It was hard for us to leave Florida. We want to move there now! Maybe someday.

American Idol

Okay, so I am in Florida right now and Jared had to go to the library for something so I had to hop on a computer and post something really quick. I'm having blog withdrawels!! My vacation has been nice. The weather has been alittle bit on the chilly side the last two days and very windy but I still have a good base tan going on. Tomorrow and Friday are supposed to be in the 80's so I cant wait.

I had to write about American Idol last night. It was a great show. Of course my favorite was David Cook. Mariah Carey was the mentor for the show and I didn't know how David Cook was going to pull off singing a Mariah song but he did and it was awesome. He sang "Always be my baby" and of course he made it into a rock kind of song and I loved it. Randy, Paula & Simon loved it and after they told him how much they loved it he was fighting back tears. Me being the sap I am I started fighting back tears too!! Jared was like Oh my God!! you have issues!! haha.

As for the other idols...I liked David Archuleta a lot but I can't even remember the other performances at this point so that must mean they weren't too memorable.

I am still feeling under the weather. I can't believe I have been fighting this cold off for about two weeks now. It started with a chest cold and then when I got better Jared got sick with a really bad sore throat and I think I caught what he had. Now I have a cough. I'm sick of not feeling well! So I got up this morning and was going to try to go to the gym but when I walked outside I couldn't believe how nice it was out so I decided to go for a walk at a park down the street from my house. It was gorgeous out! I think spring is finally here.

When I was walking I saw a guy that Jared knows walking his dog. I couldn't believe how cute this dog was! I am a dog lover anyway but I had never seen this type of dog before and he explained to me that it is a new breed called a "puggle". OMG! When I tell you it is the cutest dog I have ever seen I am not even exaggerating. I went to pat her and she was so timid and shy and had such a nice temperment. Her name was Bambi and I wanted to take her home with me. Of course when I got home I jumped on the computer to show Jared pictures of this kind of dog and he thought they were cute too. Maybe I can convince him to let us get one!!! ( ;

I can't believe American Idol tonight. I couldn't even wait till tomorrow morning to write about this. I had to get right on the computer and vent. So tonight was a very shocking night. The bottom three were Michael John's, Carly Smithson, & Syesha. If anything I thought Syesha would go home because Michael John's and Carly Smithson are so talented compared to her. When they ever said Michael John's has the lowest amount of votes my mouth dropped to the ground. I certainly didn't think he was going to win the whole competition BUT I thought he would definitely be around a lot longer.

I think the judges were shocked too because their faces were in sheer disbelief and even the audience was yelling and shocked. I don't think I have ever seen a more shocking elimination besides when Chris Daughtry got voted off and that was beyond shocking. It is embarressing to say but I think I actually cried when Chris Daughtry got voted off! So I thought it was really sad to see him go because he is so talented but hopefully he will further his career after American Idol.

I don't know if anyone else has a secret obsession with the tv show "The Hills" on MTV but I absolutely love it. I have seasons 1 and 2 on DVD and even though my boyfriend makes fun of me and tells me I am 31 years old and I am too old for it I don't care and I still love it!

"LC" Lauren Conrad the star of "The Hills" just came out with a new clothing line and I was just checking out her new website. There was only a few things on the website a couple months ago but now there is a lot more stuff and it is very cute. It is a little bit on the pricey side but her dresses and adorable and I would definitely think about buying something from her line.

Idol gives back

Tonight is elimination night for American Idol. I don't know if anyone watched the special they did last night called "Idol gives back" but it was awesome. It started at 7:30pm and went to about 10:00pm. It was a total tear jerker but it was so nice. I couldn't believe how many celebrities were on trying to get the point across about poverty, world hunger & AIDS. It was so nice. I am dying to find out how much money they raised.

There were some awesome performances. Carrie Underwood sang and she was unbelievable. I couldn't believe how awesome she sounded. Fergie sang with Heart who I haven't seen in ages. It was an awesome performance. I never realized how good Fergie's voice was till I saw her perform last night. She is so talented. Other performances were Miley Cyrus, Chris Daughtry, Annie Lenox, Mariah Carey, Gloria Estefan, & Teri Hatcher who sang "Before he cheats" by Carrie Underwood. It was a really good show. I loved it!!

Hell's Kitchen

I just started watching Hell's Kitchen for the first time this season. It started last Tuesday and I absolutely love it. The host of the show, Gordon Ramsey is a world renowned celebrity chef from Scotland who is one of the biggest hot head's I have ever seen in my life. The show is so funny and entertaining to watch because these contestants go on, some with little experience and some with lots of experience, and they compete for whatever the grand prize is. This season the person who wins the whole show becomes Gordon Ramsey's executive chef at his new restaurant that he is opening in Los Angeles called The London Restaurant.

So far two contestants have been sent home. The first week it was Dominic. He was ripped apart by Gordon Ramsey and just couldn't handle all the pressure of everything. He was just standing in the kitchen staring off into space. I actually felt bad for the guy. Last night Sharon went home and I am glad because she was absolutely clueless and Gordon could not stand her! He was constantly throwing digs at her about her wearing too much makeup and not knowing what she was doing. It is a must see show! Very entertaining!

I can't believe how big of a turn American Idol took last night. The people I thought were going to do the best did the worst and the ones I thought were going to be in the bottom three are definitely not going to be this week! The judges didn't really like David Cook's performance but he is still my favorite and I thought he did awesome last night. I think a big part of the reason why they didn't like his performance was because he sang a song that not many people are familiar with. I still love him though.

I couldn't believe how good Kristy Lee Cook did too! I have never once liked any of her performances until last night. I thought for sure she would be in the bottom three this week and I will be very surprised if she is in the bottom three now. My other favorite was David Archuleta. That kid is sooo talented and has such a beautiful voice. The judges seemed to love Jason Castro last night. He sang "Over the Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo and that is one of my favorite remakes of a song but I honestly didn't like the way he sang it. It was too fast and I think I like Israel's version of it so much that I just wasn't feeling Jason Castro's version of it.

American Idol is on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday night this week. Tonight the final 8 contestants will perform and the elimination is on Thursday night. It will be very interesting to see how everyone performs tonight. If I could guess I would think Kristy Lee Cook or Jason Castro will go home this week. Everyone else is just too good to go just yet. Im excited to see what David Cook will perform tonight. Last week he had to go to the hospital after his performance due to anxiety and high blood pressure but he is doing well now and I am sure tonight he will do awesome.

Tomorrow night American Idol is doing a program called "Idol gives back" starting at 7:30pm and they raise money to help children and young people who are living in extreme poverty in the U.S. and all over the world. During the show viewers will be able to make donations over the phone and internet. There will be all kinds of stars there like Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Mariah Carey, Chris Daughtry, and Carrie Underwood. It should be awesome. I hope they raise tons of money to help people who are less fortunate.

The Boston boy band New Kids on the Block just announced on Friday morning on the "Today" show that they are doing a reunion tour and thinking about getting back together. Donnie Wahlberg confirmed on the "Today" show that the"NewKids" have been in the studio working on a new album. Their first concert will be on May 16th on the "Today" show and that they will also be doing a limited tour in the fall.

The New Kids on the Block have not performed together in years. They were very popular when I was a little kid and were together in the 80's and 90's. They sold more then 70 million albums and were HUGE at one time. When they announced their reunion tour on "Today" Friday morning the fans were going so crazy you could barely even hear them talk. It will be so awesome to see them come back after so many years. I can't wait to hear them sing "Please Don't Go Girl" one more time.

No voice

So yesterday I felt wicked sick and had to leave work early. I have no voice at all now! Do you know how frustrating it is when you have no voice and your the type of person who likes to talk a lot!? Very frustrating. I'm so glad I snuck in to see Dr. Haley early yesterday morning. She is the best doctor ever. She gave me an antibiotic and some mucinex and I think its starting to help me but I will feel a lot better when I can speak!

I hope I didn't get Jared sick. Now he is saying he doesn't feel well. We are going away to Florida soon and I can't wait! I need a vacation and some time in the sun so bad. I haven't gone away since last summer. Im really looking forward to it.

So yesterday I started getting this dry cough and I kept saying to myself that I am not going to get sick because people always say its mind over matter and that when you tell yourself that you feel good you will feel good and positive energy will create positive things. Well it didn't really work for me because I felt awful last night and today. I literally had to force myself out of bed this morning and I was so jealous cause Jared looked so warm and comfy sleeping soundly. I wish I could have slept in with him but I have tomorrow off so I look forward to that. Hopefully as the day goes on I will feel better. I hate being sick!!!

Ramiele goes home

I was almost 100% right about the bottom three on American Idol last night until Brooke White was brought into the bottom three and that was quite shocking because she is 100 times better then Jason Castro.

So it was Kristy Lee Cook, Ramiele and Brooke in the bottom three and Ramiele went home. I felt really bad for her cause she was balling but it was her time to go home. The show is going to start to get interesting now because only the really good ones are left now. Next week Kristy Lee Cook will definitely go home unless one of the others does really really bad and I dont see that happening. Good bye Ramiele!

American Idol was awesome last night. Dolly Parton was their mentor and I think she is great. She has such an unbelievable voice. As usual my favorites were David Cook and Brooke White. David Cook is still my pick for the winner of the whole competition. I also thought that Syesha and Carly Smithson were great but the judges were very hard on them as usual. I usually agree with Simon’s opinion but I felt bad for Carly last night when Simon told her she needed to get a new wardrobe. I am not sure why but for some reason he is very hard on her. She is extremely talented so even if she doesn’t win this competition I think she will go far.

So here are my picks for the bottom three this week. I haven’t been very accurate lately but here are my choices and we will find out tonight at 9pm!

Ramiele Mulabay-If she doesn’t go home tonight I will be very surprised. She is a good singer but not good enough to win and she is too timid for the competition.

Jason Castro-This is very awful of me to say this but I am so ready for him to go home. He is also a good singer but definitely not good enough to win and he always has this grin on his face that drives me completely insane.

Kristy Lee Cook-I don’t think she is going to go home tonight because she has a huge fan base but she will definitely be in the bottom three.

Rock of Love

I don't know if anyone is as into the show "Rock of Love" as I am but I am pretty addicted to watching it even though it is absolutely ridiculous to watch these girls vy for Bret Michael's attention. My friend Robyn got me into it and once I started watching I was hooked because you watch these girls make absolute fools of themselves for this guy and you wonder why they are doing this!! The show started out with 20 girls and it is now down to 3.

Daisy DeLaHoya-who is the niece of Oscar DeLaHoya and seems to be the one Bret likes the most although I dont understand why because she is still living with her ex-boyfriend in the same room and same bed!!! Once Bret heard that he should have given her the boot but he didn't for some bizarre reason.

Destiney Moore-who is a groupie and Bret knows is a groupie but still keeps her on. She has also appeared in porno's..um yuck. And last but not least...

Ambre Lake-who seems to be the most normal out of the three but can't but too normal because she is on this show. No one has really pulled up any dirt on her as of yet but I think she may be a little bit too normal for Bret. I think he likes the disfunctional ones.

Sun damage

I don't know about everyone else but I love to lay in the sun and when I was in high school I was a bit of a sun goddess whether it was laying in the sun at the beach or going tanning at the electric beach! Now that I am getting older I am starting to see the effects of what the sun has done to my skin and there is so much talk now about how the sun is so bad for you and that you should always wear sunscreen whether you are at the beach or not. I was told by someone that you can even get sun damage when you are driving in your car. Sunlight can go right through glass and I never even knew that.

Clinique just came out with a new product that is unbelievable. It is called "even better" and you use it after you wash your face once or twice day and it actually erases sun damage, acne scarring, and any skin stresses within 4 to 6 weeks. The only catch is you HAVE to wear a sunscreen with it. The product will not work if you are using it and going tanning or laying in the sun with no SPF on. Try it. It is great!

It's Saturday morning and I am happy that in just 2 more days my boyfriend will be coming home. I can't believe how much I miss him. I've talked to him everyday but I just cant wait to see him. Today is going to be a fun day. My friend Danielle and I are going shopping. She is the only other person in my life besides my mom that loves shopping as much as I do. I know if my boyfriend reads this he is going to say STOP SHOPPING!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!! And I honestly have toned down my shopping habits big time since I met him. He helped me pay off a lot of debt when we met 2 years ago and I am so grateful for that. But I still once in awhile buy something for myself and like my mom always says, "it's in our blood." My grandfather owned a clothing store way back when.

So I think we are going to Forever 21 today and that is one of my favorite stores. It has the cutest stuff and their prices are very reasonable. I have bought some of the cutest dresses and outfits there in the $20 to $30 range and their stuff isn't made cheap. It doesn't fall apart after one wearing. Its a great store! Check it out sometime.

I don't know if anyone has heard of liveawear.org but they are a nonprofit organization founded in 2005 by Paula Rogowsky and Doug Cohen. These two people created this organization to provide awareness to people who are victims of domestic violence or to anyone who knows someone that is a victim of domestic violence. This organization builds partnerships with designers and retail outlets to create clothing that gets their message across in a fashionable way.

I never new about this organization until I came across one of their tank tops when I was shopping one day. It caught my eye because it was a plain white tank top that people usually call a "wife beater" and on the front of the tank top it said "not a wife beater". I thought the message was awesome and I ended up buying it. When you buy any of their clothing the proceeds go toward raising awareness and the prevention of relationship abuse. This organization strongly feels that in today's society people should not be calling an article of clothing a "wife beater" because "wifebeaters are people who physically and emotionally abuse their partners-not tank tops." Each day three women are killed by their intimate partners.

I recently found a great hair care treatment product that is absolutely wonderful. Since I color my hair every two months I find that my hair can get a little bit dry and sometimes needs a treatment. I have tried a lot of hair products and treatments but when I found this one I couldn't believe how awesome it was. I had heard about the product before but stumbled upon it when I was shopping in Sephora one day.

Ojon is the name of the product and they sell all kinds of hair products that are great for your hair. The particular product I bought is called Ojon restorative hair treatment. It is made of Ojon oil and comes in a tub. You only have to use just a little bit of the product because a little bit goes a long way. You scoop a half of a teaspoon into your hand and when you rub your hands together it turns into an oil that you then put in to your hair and rub into your scalp. You leave it on for about 20 minutes and then rinse it out. I couldn't believe how awesome my hair felt after I used it. It is the only hair treatment that I have ever liked. I was a little bit shocked at the bottom 3 on American Idol last night but I was pretty sure it was Chikezie that was going to go home. I felt bad for him and I didn't think it was quite his time to go home yet but he obviously isn't as popular as Syesha and Jason. I honestly can not believe Kristy Lee Cook has made it as far as she has. She seems like a nice person but she is the least talented in the competition. She obviously has a huge fan base.

I remember the season that Chris Daughtry was on and how shocking it was when he didn't win that season. I told myself that I would never watch the show again (very dramatic huh?) because I thought he was the best that year and he has been my favorite of all the seasons of the show. I hope that doesn't happen again this year and David Cook doesn't go home. I will be one depressed American Idol fan and I will probably throw a tantrum again and say I will never watch the show again but we all know that I will be right back to watching it. ( :

Her line has a lot of really cute clothes with swarovski crystals and it is very stylish and comfortable. You dont see many MLB clothes primarily made for woman so I think it is great. Check it out! GO SOX!!!
